About Me

As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a background in international relations, I am excited to bring my passion for storytelling, community engagement and strategic communication to your team.

With real-world experience in program development, multimedia content creation, and service-driven leadership, I am well-equipped to contribute to meaningful, people-centered work in the communications, journalism, advertising or public relations field.

My experiences — from supporting adaptive programming at the YMCA of Lincoln to mentoring students through the Children’s Defense Fund’s Freedom Schools program — reflect a strong commitment to amplifying community voices and creating inclusive spaces. I’ve led initiatives that merge creativity with compassion, whether that’s developing visual content for campus organizations or assisting families in accessing vital resources.

Through leadership roles in student organizations and hands-on work in service-focused environments, I’ve built a versatile media skill set that includes Adobe Suite, social media management, DSLR photography and journalistic writing grounded in AP Style. My approach is always thoughtful, collaborative, and driven by a desire to make stories resonate and communities feel seen.
